Joyce is dedicated to encouraging people to look honestly and realistically
at the scale of environmental damage on our planet, then to do something to
reverse the devastation. She reminds audiences of the importance of having a
good attitude about a change to sustainability, then presses the PLAY button and
calls us all to Sing The Change!
Even the most gruesome tasks are easier if we approach them with humor, and
whistle or sing while we work. Earth Mama concerts and presentations do just
that. Ten years of Helping Heal The Planet One Song At A Time with vastly
diverse audiences have made Joyce a pro at touching the heart and funny bone of
any audience.
Meeting planners report that they book and rebook Earth Mama because her
presentations are high-energy, high-content and highly entertaining. Hundreds of
references available. Thousands of people singing along. Millions more wanted!

Earth & Spirit
A program or concert for worship and celebrations of eco-spiritual renewal
and commitment to environmental sustainability. Often a part of this program
is recognition of previous pioneers of earth awareness within the congregation
or community where we celebrate their lives and contributions with Joyce's popular
composition, Standing on the Shoulders.
WOMEN’S HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT (1-2 hours)
FEMININE EARTH, FEMININE BEING, or HEAL THE WOMAN, HEAL THE PLANET
— Perfect for health fairs
A light-hearted but topically serious musical show
that explores connections between women’s health and the well-being of
our ecosystem. Informs attendees of the interconnectedness of all things
and women’s role in promoting a sustainable lifestyle on the planet.
EARTH MAMA’S GREEN CABARET House Concert

For that special evening to remember, a sophisticated and sparkling evening
of entertainment for an intimate cabaret atmosphere. You provide the grand

SONGWEAVER: MUSIC THERAPY FOR YOUR FAVORITE PLANET
(length varies, depending on your needs) — For association meetings
and assemblies
Earth Mama appears as part Muse, part Jester to weave musical transitions
through your kaleidoscope of workshops, seminars, and meetings that make
up your multi-day event. Customized to your theme and punctuated with
"inside-humor" to make your guests feel a part of something
really special, this program also includes a final concert to unite the
strands of learning, relieve the stresses associated with any large event,
and inspire your participants to carry your message forward as they depart.
Songweaver transitions help your attendees cleanse their palette between
intensive seminars and helps you turn “workshops” into “playshops.”
SONGWRITING FOR ACTIVISTS AND NATURE LOVERS (1-4
days)
— For songwriters or those who want to learn more about the process
of merging words and melody into song to motivate activism and inspire
positive change.
This is a hands-on active workshop giving participants the opportunity
to perform their work and join in analysis of a popular song.
Appropriate for both beginning and intermediate songwriters, participants
will benefit from group listening and discussions of critical elements
of lyric tone and style, song structure, demos and pitching songs in the
music industry. In multi-day workshops, attendees will have several opportunities
to present new or revised work. Includes a checklist for song completion.
(Beginner groups or those working on a common goal may choose to use the
time in collectively writing a song for an event or organization.)
Joyce has written theme songs and topical songs for many events and occasions
(See BIO). In the two decades as a professional writer, she has worked
with many top writers on techniques and tips for helping you
make your songs outstanding.
